Imagine
yourself inside a large convention center looking
at the exhibits, or at a ''Taste Of..''
festival with your date simply enjoying the lazy
afternoon. What you aren't necessarily
aware of is that there are also some of Nevada's
finest young singers scattered all around the
event grounds among you and enjoying the
same event and it's displays, when all of a
sudden, through the magic of
technology, they all begin to
sing A Cappella, bringing lovely
and unique 4 part vocal harmony in the form of
Singers
Unlimited, 'Take Six' or
Cole
Porter style to an already enjoyable
afternoon. Total stereo
surround-sound. Placing the attendees in the
midst of a living musical event.
A fun,
energetic, creative, unique performance group for
singers from the Greater Las Vegas Metropolitan
area. Ages 14-22. We sing for the
people, with the people and as the people. No
stages or risers. Music of the 40's, 50's
and 60's with attitude for the 21st Century!!
Cabaret, Cole Porter, Take 6, Gospel, Manhattan
Transfer, Singer's Unlimited, Beat-boxing with
class and more
As we
stroll down a parade route in our street clothes
and sing to the crowds along the
sidelines, we sing an A Capella Favorite.
Or
picture yourself in a large banquet hall with 50
tables of 8 as you finish your dinner. Then
a 15 pc band comes on stage and begins to perform
this song as you finish your desert. And
about 3/4 of the way through the song one person
from EACH of the 50 tables stands up at their
individual tables, as they begin to include vocals
from Manhattan Transfer and draws the entire group of attendees
into one of the most incredible musical
experiences they have ever had.
It is
the creative mindset such as this and so many
other music lovers around the Las Vegas area that
will bring this to a reality.
Although
VocalMotion is currently inactive, it is only
due to low interest levels. In 2009,
VocalMotion was invited to perform in San
Diego, CA, Washington DC and Vancouver British
Columbia, Canada. VM also did several
local parades and the famous Huntington Beach,
CA July 4th parade in 2008.
We
will give you an opportunity you can get nowhere
else.
